Mississippi Miracles Host Special Halftime
Tribute to Mrs. Coretta Scott King
ABA Basketball Returns to the Washington Convention Center
(Greenville, Mississippi) - ABA basketball returns to Mississippi as the Mississippi Miracles host the Atlanta Vision this week. The renowned Sharkey-Issaquena Mass Choir is scheduled to perform what promises to be a moving halftime memorial tribute to the late Mrs. Coretta Scott King.
"Their will be a special halftime tribute to Mrs. Coretta Scott King during halftime on Wednesday," states Rev. Ronald V. Myers, Sr., M.D., Chairman of the South Delta Sports & Entertainment Group, Inc. (SDSEG), owners of the Mississippi Miracles. "Since we are hosting an ABA team from Atlanta, we feel that this would be an appropriate time for ABA teams to honor Mrs. King."
The Mississippi Miracles play host to the Atlanta Vision next week on Wednesday, February 8th, at the Washington Convention Center in Greenville, Mississippi. Cost of tickets are $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children, with an increase to $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children at the door.
